The homeowners purchased a lakefront property with an existing two-room small shack and envisioned replacing it with a modern, off-grid retreat for family gatherings and relaxing holidays. The concept design for the 2,500-square-foot, two-story lake home and two-car garage emphasizes open living spaces and expansive windows that frame sweeping lake views. The design includes two guest ensuites for hosting friends and family, along with a children’s bunk area above the garage. Compact, efficient, and contemporary, the home balances modern aesthetics with thoughtful, energy-conscious planning.
